Internet Safety

My partner and I used Word to create a website that teaches kids about spam and viruses that would mess up your computer. Also we did a safety quiz on what to do and not to do.

Iowa Railways

I used iMovie to show the history of the Iowa Railways. Some people like history, so I chose to do the history of the Iowa Railways. I put the photos in sequence with steam engines first and diesel engines second.

Is the internet always true?

We made an iMovie. The movie taught little kids about internet safety and dangers. We had a lot of fun getting the pictures and music onto the iMovie.

MLK Day Video

This was my digital storytelling project. For the assembly for Martin Luther King Day I found pictures online of the Civil Rights Movement and used PhotoStory to make a slideshow that had We Shall Overcome playing as background music. It had part of the I Have A Dream speech too. I had to learn how to zoom in on the photos and panning and how to change the volume on the audio, and then it needed to be put on a regular VHS tape so we could play it at the assembly.

Modern Soccer Tricks

My friend and I produced a video about soccer tricks. We used a camcorder, Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player. When we finished our project we burned it to DVD and also CD. The project is a guide for people who may not know how to play soccer. We go step-by-step on each trick. At the end of the tricks we made a play using all the tricks.
