Compost

My project was to do a time-lapse of how long it takes different things to compost. I made piles of different things like apple peels, egg shells, potato peels, and some others and put them separately in the compost pile and then took a picture every day to see how fast they were decomposing. Then I put all the pictures together so they showed for one second, and you can see the piles get all moldy and rotten.

Dirt Bike Movie

I am going to make a movie with me doing stuff on my dirt bike like going over little tiny jumps and falling off and things like that. I'm going to use a digital camera and a computer to edit my project and I was planning on making background music from bands like System of A Down and Metalica.

Displaying Poetry: Using the Video Camera

This project is about video taping students reciting their poetry using a digital video camcorder. I will videotape the students so that each one can see their own and other's poetry being "published". I will also be using iMovie to edit the videotape.

PROCEDURES
I will get the video camera and microphone and set it up. Next I will videotape the pupil reciting or reading their poem and doing what ever it is they need to do such as displaying their poetry. Then I will connect the digital video camera using a fire wire cable to the computer and download the video to iMovie. I will edit the video adding transitions, titles, credits, and music. When I have finished I will "Display The Poetry" by exporting the video in a quick time format to CD. I will display the video to the class using a projector.

Downloading music to an MP3 player

This project is about using a video camera to make an instructional video. It is done in simple steps from plugging the MP3 player in to actually downloading. I will makeit so it will be funny and teach you something without getting people confused over steps.

Procedure:
First I will take the video camera and set it in place. I will give my dad the MP3 player to act out how to do this. Then we will start filming with me as the narrator and my dad as the confused cutomer. Then we will watch the video and redue it multiple times to make it perfect. When it is done I will show the people necessary and send it to the MP3 makers.
